The concept of communal housing was expected to gather families into a larger social whole, thus saving time and resources otherwise needed for household management. This exhibition will feature interwar and postwar attempts at creating architecture suitable for communal housing. Critical reflection of these attempts can stimulate thinking about the contemporary forms of joint tenancy. The exhibition is being prepared in cooperation with the Olomouc Archdiocesan Museum and the Regional Art Gallery Liberec.
